These are the paintings, I have done for the series “Stories on old book pages”. They are placed on the pages, ripped from a disheveled book. It is a 1956 soviet version of “Jane Eyre”, that I received from my grandmother. The condition of this piece is unreadable, there are chapters missing and some pages are half existing. This inspired me to give it a new life, by painting on it with various themes. These floral and whimsy ideas seem to work on aging paper.

The paintings are the size of 20×12.8 cm. They are done with gouache and placed on thin vintage paper, so there is a bigger need to be careful, when locating. But otherwise, you can display it as any other piece of art.
